The Maine Trust for Local News is the state’s largest network of independent news and media outlets, which together form an essential part of daily life in Maine. With over 120 journalists on staff, we serve audiences through our daily, weekly, and bi-monthly newspapers, and topic-based and hyper-local newsletters, both online and in print. We cover what matters to Maine, putting a spotlight on issues of vital importance to our people, community and state. The Maine Trust for Local News is a subsidiary of the National Trust for Local News, a non-profit committed to conserving and operating vibrant, sustainable local news enterprises across the country.
